What difference does selecting bio for characters do?
So picking a planet and various background for each character, what’s the point?

Not really all that impressive these days, especially with how prominent voice acting is, the usual budget of games, and with how horribly voice actors were treated on top of how poorly they're paid.

Most of those lines are incredibly short too anyway. I doubt they add up to all that many hours of dialogue or recording work.

Here's an example of dialogue you'll only get with a Cadian in your group:

bruh, theyre reading a script. is not like they have to go and get a degree on that.
ppl are overreacting now about everything and voice acting since the bayoneta drama is the new hot topic.
is supply and demand, thats just how the real world works. they put a price for something and you take it or leave it. nobody has to go a make sure your needs are covered but yourself

And yet you could literally say the same things of traditional actors, yet people treat them like gods walking among mortals. It's only a "new" topic to bread brains like you whose source of content and news is limited to whatever happens to be trending on garbage sites like Twitter.

Color me surprised that your opinion is equally trash and devoid of all nuance, let alone any hint of intellegience.

I have seen the same Preacher class with different personalities. One is super proud and loud, while the other was super quiet and humble..

Also seen Ogryn's that are quite smart and some are dumb as a brick.

So yeah, it would be interesting on what combination of bio will result in hilarious personalities.

That's not determined by choices, that is voice actor you select during creation, choices only change some dialogue details like knowing or not knowing how Agri-World operates because of being from there. Or characters reacting to Cadia dialogues depending on are they from Cadia or not.

Oh, I thought the certain planets, childhood and how you are raised affected your overall personality. That would have been amazing though.
