I want a Deathguard as a boss. It's not like traitor marines haven't been known to act independently. Christ, just look at the Eisenhorn books and Teke 'The Smiling One', or the Immaterial College. Typhus is another great example, constantly defying (or actually working against) his Primarch. You can even go so far back in history as Nathaniel Garro or Garviel Loken.
