The PVP can be a bit more hectic, but a well organized team is a force to be reckoned with. For PVP I recommend doing a custom match and learning each different map prior, as map knowledge is a HUGE advantage. I am quite happy to say that at least at the time of me posting this, the Meta appears to simply be....skill, you can win with whatever if you do it well.
If you haven't bought it yet, and you liked rainbow six siege but wished it was more tactical thought out gameplay as opposed to rush meta, I wholeheartedly recommend this game.
Is this game like the old-school Rainbow Six games or more like R6 Siege/Vegas?
and is it more PvE co-op oriented or PvP ? (i would prefer a PvE one...since i love the old-school R6 games...and with co-op it sounds really fun)
ps. i'm asking because R6 Siege PvE (Terrorist Hunt) sucks... and it feels like a training mode but then again R6 Siege is a PvP oriented game after all...
I would say it's a mix.
Siege has become more run and gun than tactical, but these are small maps just like in Siege and require slower pushing, more thinking before doing.
PvE is definitely way better here than in Terrorist Hunt.
If you're looking for PvE get this game AND Might I suggest taking a look at Ground Branch as well.
thx for the fast response, i have ground branch on my wishlist and Ready or Not as well.
i'll try to convince my friend to get this as well :D
ps. i miss the old-school R6 games... :( tactical with a perfect atmosphere and ambience. (Rogue Spear was my fav!) and i really liked Raven Shield as well.
Go play Nine to Five right now, But that one is PvP only (IIRC)., It's on Beta Weekend right now =D
First time i hear about this game, it looks good from what i saw so far... but yeah for PvP i play mostly R6 Siege.
