turned out to be my PiHole (ad blocker), just had to green light the ip

Thanks for the Pi-Hole tip, I just bought the game and couldn't get it to find any servers. So I instantly thought great I will be asking for a refund in the first 2 minutes of owning the game. Checked the forum here and saw this post.
I whitelisted the 3 Unity items in Pi-Hole and game works now.
