L85A2 - 5.56x45 = Bullpup mainly used by the British Military.
IWI TAR-21 - 5.56x45 = Bullpup used by Israeli Military.
G3 - 5.56x45 or 7.62x51 = Automaitc Rifle used widely in different variants.
FAL - 7.62x51 = Battlerifle of the commonwealth, still used by militia around the world.

Shotguns:

Mossberg 500 - 12x70 = Used both in Civilian and Security sectors world wide.
Remington 870 - 12x70 = Pumpaction used around the world.
M1014 - 12x70 = Semiautomatic used primarily by counter terrorism units.
Doublebarrel - 12x70 = Any breakaction shotgun, simple and used world wide.
Saiga12 - 12x70 = Semiautomatic magazinefed shotgun.

M9 - 9x19 = Italian handgun iconic and used worldwide in many armed forces.
Hi-power - 9x19 = Reliable handgun used all over the world.
Colt 1911 - .45 = Used since world war 1 to this day in the worlds armed forces.
Fort - 9x18 = Ukrainian made, easily available on the black market.
Glock - 9x19 = The most popular handgun in American, created in Europe.
H&K M23 - .45 = Used by special forces in limited numbers.
Makarov - 9x18 = Widely used in former soviet influenced countries.


Information

I want to make a list that the community can add and discuss about, I've tried focusing on weapons that could possible be available to either side; I am aware the several of these weapons are available in a varied amount of calibers and variants.

Depending on further implementaion of the gun-customization system; we might see carbines etc be made available through that system (lets hope).
