Why if you turn away are you still flashed?
does not make any sense and is kinda game breaking in pvp.

Well, even in a fairly large room, the light produced from a flashbang can reflect off of surfaces and still temporarily blind you. I've always assumed the visual effects from a flashbang in games are supposed to represent the disorientating blast of the grenade IRL, as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YsC6M4GFoc Imagine this, but in a room the size of what's typically found in ZH.

It's too bad you can't do the old close one eye trick in games.

Dayum that flash is a banger.

Regardless, its seems like a pretty broken bug and needs to be addressed.

I think we should test it. Let's all go into a random room, set off a flashbang and look away from it, see what happens.

Why random room, lets all go to the green room.

typically you don't wanna flash the room that you're also standing in, you'd ideally be from cover tossing into the room anyway.

flash bang... dont just flash, they have concussive properties, that will stun you... sometimes called stun grenades by mistake.

It would be not so realistic if they removed this but like someone else said it can reflect of mirrors, glass, and regular walls so either turned or not you will be deafened and most likely blind temporarily. Im sure eventually when you turn away your time being blind will be reduced slightly

I understand what people are trying to say. But the way its done at the moment feels more like a bug than what should actually happen. Of course your not going to feel the same effects as someone who is literally facing looking at it. So i just feel it would make sense and be more realistic, to either have the effect reduced or barely there for someone who is facing the complete other directing and not really that close to it. I see what people are trying to say but at the moment It just feels like a bug rather than something that is meant to happen. But if so then I would love to see a different effect as its not going to flash someone the same if someone is staring directly into the flash.
