Tbh I'm happy to have gotten it on PS5 because I don't think my ageing gaming rig would play this.
Hi Yujiro,
Some players have reported being able to resolve a number of their performance issues with a software called Special-K. (referencing a Steam discussion of it being mentioned: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1358700/discussions/0/3826411948443815125/?ctp=2
Others with later generation processors noticed performance improvements adjusting their E-Core settings. Where I've read on the Wo Long forums (another Team Ninja developed game) that adjusting the E-Core settings improved the performance several of the players that had those processors.
And then one last fix from the guide, though I haven't read as much about players having to go that far for it yet: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2958643152
Likely not the card, but the processor in the regards of the katana engine.
The cpu is most likely the cause, cpu usage really only sits around 40% utilization for me with this game even during heavy loads. Also I don't think this game is the katana engine, It's the same one that nioh 1/2 used. Wo Long used the katana engine and it ran great for me on my ryzen 3700x.
i got 0 technical issues; but i also capped the FPS at 60.
i9, 3070 (and 3080), 32, SDD/WIN SDD; everything maxed, 1440p and higher, no DLSS.
i didn't even see dips in the already mentioned elemental fight (at no point, even in the sidequest), where the console got some issues.
we also have the game running on an older system, sporting a 1080 and running 1440p on that system also never showed issues apart from the elemental fight.
the only "odd" thing is the closing process. especialy during longer play-sessions the game takes quite a moment to shut down when exiting via the ingame menu (screen turns black for nearly 10 secs.).
