AI will value gigamass more in trades

Base ship range reduced from 20 parsecs to 10

Base ship speed reduced by 1

Great! Just what I wanted. Slower ships with less range. Hopefully this slows down the greedy Ai. They colonize and hog everything really fast. Un-shielded engines for the win.

Range modules were a big thing in GalCiv 2. They don't matter much in this game. Feel free to change that :)

Haven't tested the new patch yet, but I like what I see in the changelog.

I think it's good that A.I. value gigamass more as bargaining for it was a bit too easy way to get gigamass. The pravus stream is a good example of that.

And reducing the range and speed of ships might slow down the early frantic rush to colonize planets.

Hopefully it works well but I like what I see :)

Yeah come back and comment how it feels. I personally like the range reductions. Makes it more of a decision.

-Range I can live with -movement is an awful idea we went thru this in early access for Super if it wasn't Epic why return to it. Movement is too limited as is on Gigantic you want to play with it make it scale with size with current movement for medium maps and + 25% for large and 100% for Gigantic

I mean if 5 is the base move then 4 for medium 8 for large and 10 for gigantic so no not 100% of total movement points but of the base points scaled to maps

Yep. Now life support is available at the start and colony ships have it.

Having a supported game feels great. Yay for bug fixes and adjustments. I wouldn't mind sacrificing a unpopulated core world for 30 gigamass. Seems like a fair trade off for those who hate toxic and radioactive worlds. (wink wink at devs.)

Would it not be better to post proper change logs?, instead of folk wondering what has changed. I have no desire to use 'Discord' thank you, just in case you suggest it ;) Sticky at top of board here will do thanks, and/or, added to original update notes.

99.9% of the time there is a proper change log posted, but this hotfix was done very quickly right before the weekend so we could enjoy it.
