You should be taken out to the back alley and shot for even asking such a ridiculous question. Chaos Theory. ♥♥♥♥ Double Agent.

Ah the napologies, the trilogy (splinter cell 1-3) are instant great titles, anything after chaos theory is utter trash. Double agent was meh, but once conviction arrived, changed the genre for the franchise, and black list, just killed it.

Double Agent is pretty ok to play but nowhere as good as Chaos Theory, saying that it doesn't mean you shouldn't play it. Conviction is pretty good but strays far from the formula, but Blacklist is the best SC game in years, much better than DA and Conviction (maybe close to Chaos Theory).

I don't understand the love for Blacklist, while it did have some good gameplay elements the overall atmosphere stank of childish F*** Yeah America rubbish.

Blacklist was a damn sight better than Conviction. It least it kept up the pretense of being a stealth game.

True that. Blackilst's SvM multiplayer was better than Chaos Theory, but Chaos Theory had to have the best Single-Player/Story, not to mention Co-Op (if you had or can get buddies to play with you).

That POS called Double Agent which was also made by some utter garbage chinese studio, shouldnt even be considered a part of SC series. That chinese studio is also the reason Pandora Tommorow is not working properly on new hardware.

Chaos Theory hands down.

chaos theory had no story as the name calls it "chaos" each mission was independent for its self, but if you want my opinion the ultimate stealth is in pandora tomorrow and it is even the hardest splinter cell with best level design, but if you want ultimate gadgets and stealth then chaos theory is the choice, Doulble agent is my favourite splinter cell in single player because what you do in each mission affects your future missions there is not only ONE way to finish a mission and it is advanced chaos theory because not only you have all the things from chaos theory you also have more knockdown features. BUT if you want ultimate fun in COOP then go for chaos theory because no splinter cell has a coop like that not even blacklist.

The best you can do is play chaos theory then double agent then conviction then blacklist in order (Playing conviction and blacklist without finishing double agent is like watching LoTR from part3)
