night vision issue
Folks, I am running Splinter Cell CT on Win 10 inside parallels on a mac. I am having the issue posted elsewhere with a mostly white display display in night vision. I have tried all three shader model setting (including setting the sub-settings on/off in different combos). I have tried different resolutions and tabbing out and back in. I have tried updating my virtualised video driver (in Parallels). All with no change to the problem.

I did read somewhere this may be fixed if run in a window. I have tried running Parallels both full screen and windowed with no luck. I am yet to find a way to run CT itself in a window in my Win 10 client (it runs full screen to the Win 10 desktop).

Has anyone got this to work under Parallels? If so please say how :-)

Yes, only in coop and when sharing cam view and its only on my part, my team player has no issues, also when I created coop game he could not see it on the list of games available for joining but it works when he creates a game then I can join. Also played with other friend and no issues at all both ways creating and joining game.

oh, and I am using HD textures and widescreenfix mods if that could cause anything ...

Similarly the optic cable & scopes is just as useless for me, either empty black or blinding white.

Same issue for me. Any options or fixes would be appreciated.

I was able to get it to not show a white screen by toggling the "HDR Rendering" to off in the shader options for shader model 3.0 but the night vision mode still is bugged and doesn't help all that much in really dark areas. The only suggestion I can give for those playing the game on Mac via parallels is maxing out the brightness and contrast so that you don't need to use night vision at all or play it on a windows pc. If you play on Mac via CrossOver there are no graphical issues and night vision works fine; however, the fps is super low (30 and below I estimate).
