Every controller fix patch makes my camera go crazy
I'm trying to get the game patched up and every trigger fix for a controller I've found makes my camera immediately face down at the ground and turn in circles. It's giving my controller a maxed out upward diagonal input without me doing anything. I've tried both the one in the big patch guide and scfix, they both cause the same issue and I can't play without triggers, any ideas? Using wired xbone controller.

Edit, I have checked the settings and Joystick is enabled and the controller is listed as xbox. I tried removing all keyboard binds but you can't unbind the mouse. I've tried turning the mouse off and nothing so it's def something in the controller settings from the patch.

Not sure then, try this: edit 'ProgramData\UbiSoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory\SplinterCell3User.ini'
and set:

CaptureMouse=False

I've spent damn near 8 hours on this ♥♥♥♥ and I've given up and refunded it. I've been talking with someone on reddit back and forth and nothing works. Enabling steam input fixes the camera but disables every other input. I checked the .ini you referenced and every other .ini in the system folder and there's no CaptureMouse setting. I just wanted to play at a smooth framerate and natural widescreen but I'm well versed in emulation I'll just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ emulate it it's not worth this much time and effort.

Should be under: [WinDrv.WindowsClient]
Not sure if it would fix this problem anyway.
