PC v PS3?
I'm not sure whether to get this on Steam or the PS3's HD collection, so I was wondering if there were any differences in frame rate, control, or glitches or sometihng.

PC is the better choice, PS3 has frame drops, corruption of data, no coop or versus, and it's basically a PC port, and the PC on max settings might even look better.
Thanks man, that was all I wanted to know.

You are right when you say that the PC version is better, but have you actually played the PS3 version? CT is the only game in the whole collection which actually doesn't display any frame drops as surprising as it may seem. Could be the fact that CT is actually rendered at 720p while the other 2 games are at 1080p.

I have played all of them and got 100% achievements. You get way less features with coop and versus though, and you get 3 DLC maps on SC1 on PC.
Yeah, it kind of makes you think why they would even bother releasing it.

The Playstation 3 version worked perfectly fine for me, and you shouldn't have any problems with it. The only complain I have is how selecting a game works. You have to quit the entire game and go back in to play another game. But besides that, it is good. PC is still my preference though, because I prefer it on PC. Although it has way more issues and problems.

I can't change resolutions at all (I don't think anyone else has that problem but who knows), my game is currently crashing everytime I try to start it, and I haven't been able to start the first mission (when I actually get through the other crashes) because it'll crash there too. I'm running on a GTX 660 GPU with an AMD A6-7400k processor with 6gb of RAM, so I should be more than good. It's a Nvidia card and i've only heard problems about AMD cards. I'm thinking it's resolution for me, but i've also read quite a few other peoples comments about them having problems playing the game.

Do you have more than one monitor connected? The only issues that I ever had with the PC version is that sometimes (rarely) the game resets back to its default settings and refuses to work with a second monitor connected.
