Game will not launch on Windows 11?

So I recently tried to play this game on my Windows 11 PC but when I try to launch the game, the little box with the title and artwork of Sam pops up but then it closes itself. I've installed the widescreen fix thinking that would help someone but it didn't. Any advice on what to do?

Having the same issue on Windows 10.

Find "splintercell3.exe" in your \SlintercellChaosTheory\System file. Right click and choose properties. On the Compatibility tab, Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for: > Windows XP SP3. Same tab, check the box for "Disable fullscreen optimizations" > Apply and then run the game. Hope it helps.

I have the same problem. It won't launch in Windows 11

.... Yep, not getting any error messages, just won't launch, win 11, tried compatibility modes, tried dx wrappers like widescreen fixer or DXVK, I get nothing, no idea what's wrong.

EDIT, I have an idea what's wrong, it's the executable, Ubisoft must have been lazy in patching out all the remnants of the Starforce DRM code.

6/15/2023. . .still won't work. I open it and it causes the screen to enlarge while putting the application of CT down to the bottom right but I can't click anything or do anything. Sad to see - as SC 1 works fine. Which is BIZARRE, man. I just want to play CT!

Very sorry to hear that. I would love to be able to play this game again. Wish that these issues would have gotten more attention. A fix made by a dedicated fan is the only solution at this point.
