So how does it work, the servers are still down afaik, do discord make it possible to lan online?

Thats what I thought, never seen any vlan option for discord

Yeah a VPN is required, GameRanger (assuming it's still there) can connect you outside of LAN and is a good tool for connected outdated games over LAN function.
