Hokkaido Objectives
Short story LONG,
So in the 14 yrs I've owned this game I can't remember the last time I used "Mission" to play an SC mission instead of beginning a new game and playing through to the end. I finally have the Xbox 1 controller mostly working, (still have to use the keyboard and mouse for some things). I learned how to configure the GeForce recording software, (OBS and or the game crashes when using OBS). I have Shotcut running, (free and renders at 1080p, better than free Lightworks at 720p) and have learned enough to render and export video files with Shotcut.

I've always wanted to record SC game play, I'm recording by starting new games from "Mission" to go through the process showing the setup for Expert Mode for each game. I completed Displace today as with all missions at 100% and uploaded it. Then via the same process began working through Hokkaido. Once I made it out of the 1st building I was told to scan the plates of the 2 vehicles in the enclosure. I've never had to do that before, I could only scan 1 because the BG was standing near it and didn't think anything of it till the game wouldn't allow me to extract.

At 1st I thought I missed a bug but knew it wasn't because of the headgear dialog. I had to dump "OPSAT" from the controller so I could use the controller to cycle through multiple S Cams in Bathhouse so I couldn't tell what I had missed. I eventually figured out it was the 2nd plate.

So is this normal for mission mode I went back to the Displace video and the info on Nedich was complete and 100% so what gives?

You need to scan the plates if you don't record the conversation about Nedich during Displace, but I think that only works when playing through sequentially- start Hokkaido with "Mission" and it always seems to assume you didn't record it.

Depending on your point of view, it's either a bug or just how the way it was designed- any features/differences that depend on your actions on previous levels don't seem to take effect when playing a particular mission.

I don't have a problem with it, it just caught me way off guard not ever seeing it before. I wonder why similar primary objectives didn't link between missions 1-5? The only thing that made sense to me was that it was a solo mission thing not sequential. I got the blocked plate on the way out this aft so 100% on it too. It should be up for viewing by now.
