Iron Sickle / Hoe?

I'm in the post game trying to make a first rate sickle / hoe to get 100% items but I have no option to make an iron sickle / hoe to forge them. Does anybody know if they drop in specific floors in the amagaeshi shrine? I know every floor is random but is there a bracket of floors where they are likely to drop? I really like this game but obtaining some items in the endgame is really frustrating.

Wasn't that the starter equipment? I don't think you'll be able to get more of them, but I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure you had to craft the iron tiered items, hence the iron ore you can harvest about halfway in the game. The problem is that I don't have the recipes for them anymore and I have no idea how to get them again. I don't even have any in my inventory. There has to be a way of getting them again because you actually NEED them to get the materials for the final upgrade for some of the endgame weapons. There's really very little information available about how amagaeshi shrine actually works so I feel like I could be throwing a lot of hours at it and not get the items I need.

You can see in this reddit post for some of the items you actually need to craft the ultimate equipment. I refuse to believe they are only one time obtainable. I really don't hope the developers intended us to keep grinding 300 floors of randomized drops to try to obtain them.

Iron and first rate iron are upgraded from the scrap iron weapons you start the game with. Once you use the scrap iron to craft the higher versions, that's it. You don't get them again. The + versions of each weapon all drop separately from bosses in the shrine, from floor 200 up to around 220 or so? So you need 3 drops to craft brand of ascendent+ and 3 drops to craft nerinagi spear fork.
Btw, if you use the + versions to craft those weapons, you can get the + versions again. I recommend getting all 6 first before crafting either weapon.

Okay so after grinding the dungeon a bit it seems that even though drops are random you will never get dupes. After you obtain every drop possible you will just start to get materials like dragon bones / cloudy crystals. I just got an iron sickle on floor 110, so it seems that possibly the drops are split into giant pools for every 100 floors? I'm not exactly sure since it needs more farming but i've been doing a lot of 200-300 floors and I have only been getting materials for a while. It may be bad luck but I'll keep farming to see if I can catch anything else with how this works.

There's definitely ranges for equipment drops. The only one I really noticed was the iron line like I said before, they will drop from the low 200s. You're also not getting holy tree or hoshidama weapons until late 200s. If you're missing stuff and not finding it in 200-300, then go back to 100-200.

You don't get dupes like I confirmed before, so if you start seeing more material drops on boss floors its more likely that you have all the drops within that range. Although you can still get bad luck and get materials when they still have stuff to drop. The best way to farm is just to save on a boss floor and keep farming him until they drop what you want. Unfortunately it seems that the 200/300 floor bosses are pretty annoying with all the flakes they can drop. I've been going at it for the past 30 mins just to get the kamuhitsuki mask+ from floor 300 and it's not dropping. I've managed to get every other + endgame item so I'm only going for the mask now.

For the most part the list on reddit is pretty accurate, the floors do have random drops but those specific items will only drop within the floor range, so if you keep farming boss floors you will get what you want eventually. I was able to get the dragon hunter + outfit on my second try on floor 285. I wish Edelweiss would have made the postgame less tedious though. I'm never a fan of RNG drops.

Unsure if I'm missunderstanding myself but... I did craft the Iron Sickle and Hoe that replaces the initial weapons... was that a mistake? Or will the regular Sickle and Hoe be upgradeable later down the line?

scrap iron upgrades into iron which upgrades into first rate which is required for a post game weapon. Later on, you need to find + versions of those weapons in the shrine to make the + version of that end game weapon. So no, you didn't make a mistake.

I got into the point I'm offered to craft Iron tools from our starter ones (Scrapped Iron), but I'm kinda a weird type of completionist and would like to know: is there a way to obtain those tools without using our Scrapped Iron ones, since from what I read we can't get another copy and I wanted to keep 1 of each? Even if needed to wait until very late in the game for it.

No you can't reacquire your scrap Iron tools back in a normal method hacking sure but when I say normal method you have options to downgrade the weapons back provided you havent released their potential skills

Thanks for the reply! I forgot to mention, but definetely legit-only. I will do anything boring/long to obtain, as long is actually legitimally possible.

Which brings me to this final question: from what I read on japanese wiki, Brand of the Ascendant + requires Brand of Ascendant , which is kinda unique by itself since requires the final product of the Scrapped Iron "evolution" weapon. In another words, is IMPOSSIBLE to have BoA+, BoA, First-Rate, Iron and Scrapped Iron weapons at SAME TIME in a save file.

Is this correct?

Yeah, just make a save on the 200 / 300 boss floors and keep reloading until you get what you want. Unfortunately there's really no easy way to obtain any of the items other than mindless grinding. The guide on reddit is pretty accurate on where you can find the items you need.
