"Shared/Split Screen Co-op" -> please also add "Remote Play Together"

Look. I'm a dev, not a game dev so I know ♥♥♥♥ is never as easy so I don't want to come in calling for all these features. But I'd love for the devs to take a look into this feature steam offers and maybe reach out to steam to see if they can help them push this through.

This enables your friends to join your game online while mimicing local/couch play. Don't get me wrong, a full blown online co-op is still preferable but as that seems to be off the table at the moment this is sort of a good compromise. We need this feature in more games especially during times of social distancing.

My only question is if the split screen is"screen locked" so you both have to be together 100% of the time, or can both players do completely different tasks and be on opposite ends of the game world.
If its screen locked I won't even bother with the game. I play a lot of stardew with my Wife and we feel spoiled by that mechanic now.

Please Add Real Multiplayer, im not saying people needs to go far, they could be ankered to the host, but not everyone is a fan of split screen.. plus its just extra sales for you if people buy it twice to play together

Yes - remote play is supported!

Players will not be able to do tasks at opposite ends of the game world - you'll be working together to tend to your plot of land, explore the world together and fight back against powerful foes!

so just to clarify, does the game support local couch coop (either on a shared screen, or split screen) on one PC using 2 controllers?

The full game will do, yes - with a shared screen.
