Getting more farming tools for other player in local co-op?

Are we just supposed to share? Is there a place to buy more? It doesn't feel right to spend a while watering crops when the other person just stands there.

Agreed, feels terrible. Makes farming not enjoyable in co-op.

There is a merchant called Pumpkin that sells bigger bags, farming tools, seeds and weapons. You can find her sometimes in the north of Paw Village after 7 pm.

Having to share the watering can is the worst part of the game, because field is too big for one person to be at either side, player 2 gets teleported if they fill up the can and player 1 is on left side of the farm... only one of many such annoyances with only 1 set of tools in a co-op playthrough

Yeah, I agree that's a pain. But at least a little annoyance is worth playing co-op for me.

Only problem I have so far, the devs seem to have changed things based on user comments in the last 2 updates so I have faith, the game is great aside from this !

Even the trailer shows two cats watering the fields. People really should stop making false accusations and covering them with a QOL-label, instead of either simple ask a question or rather play the f-in game for once.

I am not playing the game to see if something so simple as 2 players = 2 sets of tools like in any other co-op farming game is implemented if they don't give it right away. I will wait for patch and play other things in the meantime.

The game is meant to be a sp experience. The coop is attached as a simple "its fun playing together"-mechanic, but nothing ingame indicates anything close to being it a two-player experience.
Hence, you even get debuffed in a two player game.

But sure, go ahead. Play something else. Like Fortnite for example.
