suggestion: toggle off 'fade to white' effect

The fade to white at the end of each levels and for menu transitions is really blindingly white. An option to tone it down or just disable all 'flashbangs' could be neat.

I imagine everyone with a nice IPS screen and high brightness levels would appreciate it.
