Break Mode

If both players are idle and near each other, Floyd will transform into a boombox while Colin relaxes and listens. Colin can seek backward, and Floyd can seek forward through songs using the Use Item button. Moving either character will exit Break Mode.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where some buttons could stick around if you left the level during a dialogue.

Improvements

Made Borderless Fullscreen the default option instead of Exclusive Fullscreen.
Added a simpler way to handle the death bounds in The Expanse exit levels.
Separated Colin’s upper and lower half so his arms go in front of the rope attached on his hip.
The transition to Credits after beating the game is now a fade instead of a slide.

Modified spikes. Removed flame spitters.

The Expanse - Exit 5

Lengthened the ending and improved the look of the final area.

Brave Escape

Black screen at launch

I wanted to try the demo after seeing a co-op bros video, but when i launch the game i only see a black screen. There's sound and the game seems to run, but no visuals. The friend i intend to play with has no such problem. Is there a workaround ?

Improvements

Improved the visuals and audio of the Ancient Cave exit.

Improved the visuals of the Glowing Depths exit.

Improved the visuals and audio of the Serpent’s Hollow exit, including some color balancing.

Improved the visuals and audio of the Glacial Falls exit, including the snow particles.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where sounds fading out during level reloads were affected by the new listener position. Now, a new listener is used for the next level, while old sounds continue on their original listener until they finish fading out.
Fixed a bug where display settings were being applied twice during launch.
Fixed a bug where Floyd would continue to use the magnet if input was released inside Pause menu.

New Features

All exit levels (except The Expanse) will now speed up if you get ahead of the camera allowing you finish faster.

Localization

Singleplayer

While we did not intend for the game to be played singleplayer we definitely enjoy playing it this way. We recommend giving it a try if you're up for the challenge! It takes a while to master the controls but once you do it's pretty fun.

Achievement for Ancient Cave

My friend and I completed the ancient cave in the demo version of the game. How can we unlock the achievement without beating the ancient cave again? :)
