Update 2021.8.12 (1.01) has just been released! This coincides with the demo release, so check that out if you want to give the game a try. The update has the following features/fixes:

Added damage effects to indicate when an enemy or player ship has been hit
Added screen shake effects for the destruction of large ships, and when launching from a planet
Updated minigun sprite with a spherical base, and added spin-up phase and sound
Large increase to Robot Heavy enemy hull strength
Fixed planet rotations only occurring clockwise

NOOOOOOO, YOU CAN NOT CHANGE BOOST DIRECTIONAL!

Why Ruin the game this way? It has suc a nice itch feeling and THEN I push Boost and I an not boosting but reverse?

It it that the control is somehow connected to the Pad-Controls? You really must change that for Mouse-Keyboard Audience like me else a not go to spend money on that!

(though I can understand the thinking behidn it)

It's here! Super CosmoJet is now available, and I'm excited to get any and all (constructive) feedback from players.

I'm planning on improving and updating the game going forward, but first thing on the agenda is a free demo version consisting of the tutorial and first level. So, if you're not sure about buying the game yet, that will give you the chance to try it first. Life is pretty busy at the moment, but I'll aim to have the demo ready in the next few weeks.

Controller axes don't work

In the demo, the controller axes don't work - the ship does not react to them. Interestingly, the buttons work, so does the D-Pad (in the menu). Also, when controllers are enabled, the mouse does not work. So I have to first disable the controllers using the D-Pad before I can do anything. I tested it with the Steam Controller and an X-Box controller. Please let me know if you require some logfiles or want me to do some further testing. Thanks!...

'Would love to see this Released on GOG's platform as I found the game very enjoyable, as with the excellent sound effects. All while being easy to pick up and play.
