So… you can change some characters in the base. The four characters you have to do quests to unlock will hang out in the base and talking to them will let you switch into them.
Unfortunately, all other unlockable characters don’t show up at the base at all, including the DLC ones, which is a big shame. It would be a really cool vibe if they were filling up the sofas on all floors and in that back room etc, so you could speak to them to switch into them.
I believe there is no cypher dance pad because the characters are all already in their set places (well, the ones that are in the hangout anyway). I guess they don’t want to have to despawn them when they’re dancing on that pad, which would be awkward since the selection that dance is random.
IDEALLY, every unlockable character hangs out in the base and when you’re in post game talking to anyone will let you switch into them. No need for a dance pad and there’s no story so we don’t need the final dialogue sticking around.
They REALLY need to add a dancepad in the Hideout, even if it does cause certain characters to deload, it would make the game much more fun in that aspect.
