controller won't stop vibrating every time i press RT or LT

so.. every time i press RT or LT my controller starts vibrating like crazy and it doesn't stop unless i either change the vibration setting in settings or tab out of the game. it still does it, no matter if vibration is set to on or off. windows says the controller is called "controller 1.05"
i have never had this problem with any other game. it's just with this one.

well, i fixed it by going to big picture mode controller settings and turning off steam haptics...
