What's the difference between JSR?
Or is it the same?

Jet Set Radio is made by Sega. This is an indie game that is inspired by the Jet Set Radio games that haven't gotten a sequel in like 20 years. It isn't connected to JSR in any way. It's just a love letter to fans of those games. The difference with this game is that it is much more like Tony Hawk, encouraging fast-paced combo strings and mechanics to get higher multipliers and extend combos. You can also use roller blades, BMX bikes and skate boards; Jet Set just has roller blades. JSR is a slower-paced game that is less emphasized on speed and crazy combos. The first JSR is set in areas with a time limit where you have to tag all the graffiti spots as fast as possible. JSRF, is more open-ended with connected areas that allow for more freedom in gameplay--which is exactly what this game does. A lot of the areas are heavily inspired by areas from JSRF.

tldr; JSR is arcadey, JSRF is linear-open world.

BRC is more like JSRF, but with an emphasis on combos and the ability to use BMX and Skateboards. The graffiti system however, is more like the original JSR.

I just mash the directions to do the graffiti because it still doesn't make sense to me, and works every time, but it's pretty bad.

In BRC? each graffiti has a pattern, you draw in a specific order to achieve it. I like this mor e than simply holding down a trigger in JSRF.

One of my favorite things about the original JSR was memorizing the inputs depending on the character's skill, it was satisfying to me.
