Reverse skating?
In JSR you could reverse skate by flicking the analog stick, you could also jump into a reverse skate which was cool. Does BRC have something similar? I've been messing around to try to figure out if it was possible but didn't find anything.

well, ive heard that everyone has the same move set reagrdless of characters, which is underwhelming

There isn't, and yes, everyone performs the same tricks. The story was definitely the focus of this game, not the combos.
