The ass ass ass song is ass ass ass. Only having that and one other song to listen to for the first chapter of the game made me want to refund. Luckily there's a mod that allows for custom music injection.

in all srsness though how can you not like it, I would personally have my ears examined, no it''s definetly subjective but I really thought it captured the spirit of JSR - I do miss the radio buzzing in between songs and in the pause menu, and professor K, and birthday cake, and aisle 10.... just start a playlist on YT or spotify and mute in game music. EZ LOL but maybe there is some way to mod? Id love to add, but I wouldn't take anything away from this games OST it was pretty solid for me.

The game desperately needs more music as well as less irritating music.

I for one know that "big beat", the genre that Hideki Naganuma makes, died out wayyy too early, and there were only like 4 big artists (not counting Naganuma) who even made that stuff, kinda like how trip-hop didn't have that many artists and once they stopped making albums, the genre died out very quickly.

Naganuma is like Fatboy Slim mashed with all the best parts of the more silly, bombastic tracks by Crystal Method and Chemical Bros., his stuff has such a great mixture, and such a rare one. Its very rare to find good big beat, plunderphonics, etc. in general on Soundcloud and Bandcamp, its a very rare genre for many reasons.
