Massive motion sickness?
1st I want to say the game is incredible and a dream come true and I love it!!!!!!!

Now my issue, I have no idea why but I am getting insane motion sickness when I play and I have no idea why? Is it the FOV? Is there some crazy motion blur? I don't know what it is but I am like dying after like 10 - 15 minutes :(

Anyone else in this boat? I am going to see if it is a UE4 game and if there is anything in the config files. Sucks cause I want to play and I love it, I don't remember the last time I had this issue this bad. I have been playing both Atlas Fallen and Remnant II and I am chillin and can play for hours.

If someone has any help to fix my issue that be awesome, thnx.

Same for me, would love a FOV slider or some more video options

It is mainly the fov when jumping. Your character is moving so fast sometimes and when your anticipating a grind. It is like the world slows down so you can't make it to the rail without a boost or anything else to help you. Camera gives you a false sense of distance because of the camera work cause it does legit looks like everything slows down. I havn't got to the point of motion sickness yet, But I noticed this detail pretty early.

yes this is a legit problem for me as well. i powered through but only in between breaks. Fine game aside.

well that affects whether i'll get it or not, FOV is a massive trigger for motion sickness in some people and it's only increasing.

another thing that causes it is motion blur so try turning that off if this game has that option.

I remember my motion sickness in gaming getting so bad that I was quitting my favourite games, there IS a solution to cure it but I highly recommend against doing it, I did it and it was a miserable existance:

Playing through it, in the game I chose, I played through it, i'm talking whole day sessions of playing, it took my 3 days of feeling like puking, headaches etc before it became manageable.

In hindsight it's mostly cured my issues with motion sickness but... damn it wasn't fun.

Damn, I think your right :( . Man I really hope they add a FOV slider, sucks it is not UE4 or you could inject the FOV value with Universal UE4 Unlocker.

Yeah that false sense of distance is what massively triggers it for me and I had issues with getting the rails etc at first. I have massive issues with FPS games and have to have the FOV at 110 minimum or I get super sick* a bunch of third person games mess me up as well), just had a really unlucky spawn when I was born.

Cool, well I really hope they add the FOV slider for I love the game. Thanks for the feedback

So I am not alone, feels bad man, +1 for a FOV slider I think it be massive and probably fix the issue a bunch of us have. Fingers crossed they add it soon for I want to have a solid session and refuse to refund it.

Yeah I just came off my first play session and I'm suffering. I hate to say but I might have to refund. :(

Dev's : any update on a FOV slider in the next patch? If you add it I could finally play the game more than 10 minutes and love you all forever
