The AI can see me through walls?! (Tents, to be more specific)

This game's difficulty put me on my toes right from the beginning. After getting to the first Merc Camp (Where you need to steal the car) by swimming through the river on the left side, i was getting constantly killed until i realized something: ENEMIES WERE SHOOTING ME THROUGH WALLS! Damn!

Does the AI have x-ray scanners? No. It's a bug! (I didn't think Ubisoft used to mess up their games back in the day...)

I found out that there is an Unnofficial patch to fix this, and, after some research, i was able to download it from GamersHell without a single problem. Here goes it:

Now i'm finally able to use the stealth this game requires XD

To install, just enter your path to FarCry's Steam installation directory (Usually 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\FarCry') in the installer and start the game right after.

Just so you know: the only thing the patch does is to add a 'SCRIPTS141.pak' file to the 'FCData' folder.

Really helpful, but I thought the game was like this, and i played through with the AI shooting through walls or tents xD. Frustrating, but you can go on. I think the most frustrating thing though is when the Enemy Soldiers shoot you when you can't see them because of render distance (And I played on Very High graphics, so more frustrating ><)

I started this game in realistic mode. Which I dont regret. Yesterday I was doing this mission for at least 2 hours I keep dying cuz I was being shot through the tents I was laughing like a madman. then a found the command to save the game when ever u want but that was after I beat that mission XD I was so piss offf!!

Dr. Shinigami, can you tell what that command is? The only thing i disliked absolutely about this game is how far from each other those checkpoints are!

2024 and the bug still exists(v1.40).. As @DemetriusJr wrote. after the first merc camp it is not really possible to do something. Thanks for the info @all

Yeah... Unplayable, the second level is literally unplayable.
Also, I am not downloading some exe from a modding site to fix the game I paid for.

It would be nice if we had an option to select what patch level we want. I would love to play the initial version without these silly bugs.

There is no problem downloading the 64 bit patches linked in the guide section
