Importing isn't working correctly for me
I'm currently on the Abejdu mission, the one where you're supposed to build up a navy for the first time and also lack many basic resources. Fishing is the only option for food, yet it's totally awful (more than 3 fisheries seem to cause them to idle for a long time due to overfishing, and those feed maybe one row of houses). I've opened trade routes with the other cities, many selling meat, figs and some even fish. I set all foods to be imported to maintain 1000+ and have granaries accepting all foods. I have two fully staffed docks, yet not a single food delivery has EVER reached me in this particular mission. Plenty of ships going by complaining about how I never trade when I'd love to take their fish off their hands. Funny thing is, exporting works just fine and importing pottery also works as it should.

How is it supposed to work?

Imports only go to Storage Yards. Make sure to have 1 that accept whatever food you're trying to import. They won't go to the Granaries even if there is space. That is the original mechanic too. Same story for exports. If you want to export food, it must be in a Storage Yard, otherwise it won't be exported.

I'm having the same issue on the campaign. The goal is to import bricks, but I don't get any, even if i set the storage yard to "get all". Any help would be appreciated.

Check who is actually selling bricks on the world map and if it's a land or a sea route, if it's trade by sea you need a dock that's also set to trade bricks, in addition to a stockpile building that has space and is accepting bricks.

Ok, I found the answer in another thread. Apparently you need to manually set the number by picking "import to maintain", and then select the amount you want. Works for me now.
