This game was funded on March 31 2016, exactly 5 years ago. Where is the development progress? Everyone who pre-ordered this probably already forgot about it

Anyone know what's going on with this in regard to the people who backed the crowdfunder on fig.co? They've been absorbed by Republic, who don't seem to have any mention of it ever happening.

I backed this thing nearly 8 years ago, it seemed to be making consistent progress for a while. Is it still actually in development?
