Achievements Question

Will this have all 2,500+ in-game ones? That would be pretty awesome but I could understand not wanting to do that.

not exactly, RuneScore it's its own thing, there will be Steam achievements at launch, and there will be batches of future achievements

Having all in-game achievements sounds a little unrealistic. I imagine it would be simple yet basic stuff like get a 99 or get all 99s maybe do quests, kill bosses, etc. Anyway we have to wait until it's released.

That screenshot isn't in either Steam trailer, where did you really get it?

How do you know achievements will unlock when linking accounts?

According to Jagex's Stream on Twitch, RuneScape will have 20 Steam Achievements on launch. If you link up to your current account, any qualifications that you meet for the Steam Achievements will be awarded to you. They also stated on stream that the Steam Achievements are not necessarily the same as in-game, but they will be related.

about the achievements, you will be able to link your current runescape account onto steam, thus if you have done anything related to those achievements, they will unlock automatically

20 achievements?! That's all? for a game as gigantic as Runescape I was expecting hundreds. Ah well, they do say they will add more over time.

Exactly, this is only the first batch of steam achievements, there will be more in the future

In my opinion, they should just add every single ingame achievement to Steam.
