When I first entered the game I had a website window that I opened on Steam with the classic button where it helped me make the perfect combinations with topics, genre, etc.

Does anyone know how to get it back?

That's not built in into the game, you must have had a steam guide open, so... Check the guides for the game, there's at least two different ones that deal with combinations.

Keep in mind you can still score 90%+ by using what you want rather than what the game considers "perfect." Want a racing game about candies? You can do that and get 90%+.

Hi, I saw that there are guides only that I ended up on a website that unfortunately I can no longer find that gave me all the perfect combinations ;(

If it's not that, then whatever "website" you ended in, maybe check your browser history, it's unlikely someone else will know what you searched for and what link you clicked. ;)

And again, don't focus too much in one single thing, as there are many mechanics that affect your review scores and sales. Using suitable genre/topic combos will not help you survive if you're not paying attention to those other mechanics, specially in higher difficulties (unless you play with infinite money.)

Ok thank you so much <3, I'm learning to play the game, my games don't last long on the market and I still don't know how to use marketing well and how to stay in the top 10 in the rankings :) but I'm addicted to this game lol

Other than personal choices on what you want to do*, the only thing you need to worry about is profit. It won't matter if you're number one in all charts and create 98% games if none of these games give you any profit by the end of their lifetime, so marketing isn't always going to be helpful in the long run.

Games have a limited shelf life, which is determined by their review ratings and can be influenced by the active users of the platforms targeted, the strength of the publisher, trends and market saturation, and even your difficulty settings. Don't expect your games to last you for many years (except for MMOs, which need some micromanagement to keep them going,) as MGT2 was not built around "make one game and keep making money out of it forever" but around the idea of IPs (game sagas) and making every new game you make for an IP feed on the success (or failures) of previous games in it.

With enough games of good quality you can have any game you make start development at 60 hype, which is good enough to give its sales a good boost compared to games with zero hype. But hype is not a flat increase in sales, but a multiplier, so if your game wasn't going to profit, throwing a million in marketing at it will just make you lose a million more.

* I've played a slow, "realistic" developer run, a run where I made one game per week, runs where I focused on arcades or making my own console, runs where I tried to see how many MMOs I could have out at the same time...
