Idea for Optimisation

I know lots of people don't have issues with lag at later years, but the game is not optimised that well for those times, and most people playing tycoons dont have really good pcs, so could you just add a toggle in graphics settings for those bubbles like +1 graphics that appear from employee heads, or optimise in some other way? I think the game needs optimisation before release

The game will continue to be more optimized the closer it gets to release, but where are you noticing the most slow down? You're noticing the improvement bubbles negatively affect your game performance?

I have at least 150, not sure how to check exact amount, but I always notice that it gets more laggy the more I expand the studios and in the later years, I have a suspicion that it's the bubbles but even just loading in with the game paused it's still very slow, i couldn't play my save for a while just due to it being soooo slow that I didn't want to play

Are you using any of the graphics options? I've found that a lot of them (weather effects for example) can cause things to slow down badly. I'll again say the birds are graphical pollution, and anything that moves can slow down a game, so there really should be a toggle for birds too.

everything is lowest and all graphics stuff is toggled off, max framerate 90 is only one i changed

I think one of the things that stops games from lagging on my end is... I'm a "60 FPS" weirdo. I don't bother with higher framerates than 60 - they require more GPU power, after all) which allows me to play a lot of games at max quality even though my computer "should not" be able to do that (if I was going 4800x3200 at 240 FPS instead of 1600x900 at 60 FPS I would be lagging like mad in those games...)

There is a problem and it is obvious. In the late game, as I expand, FPS sags more and more. If at the beginning of the game and in the middle it is 90, then in the end it becomes 30. No graphics settings affect this. And I also turned off these bubbles flying out - the same thing. It does not help.

yeah i have tried lowering the framerate cap, but that does nothing, i'd be fine with 60 fps as thats all i can get stuff to run at anyways

You're lucky that you get 30 at the end
