Are you able to say whether it will be a game development simulator or something else?
Thanks.
Thank you.
there is no difference for MGT1 and MGT2
developer giveup everysingle time
Don't feed it awards, guys. That's what it wants.
???
The biggest leap between 1 and 2 was graphic-wise, changing from isometric to 3D with more flexible room designs. As far as I can tell, that was the only big reason to make the sequel. MGT3 has no such justification to work with.
Everything proposed here can easily be added to MGT2 if we really want it. And honestly, I didn't really see anything listed here that is a 'must-have.'
The complication elements do sound interesting, but the company resale system appears completely unnecessary - if I don't want the company anymore, I'll just start a new game file with increased difficulty for that more competitive environment.
Hate that my subsidiary could make a game that'd sell millions and make them 100million+ but none of that goes to its actual value, they company would still only have like 23 million lol
1. A real platform design system, what we have sucks.
2. Fan Age Groups to matter - Kid, Teen, Adult, Old, (All). There should be like, X number of each Age Group "on the market" at a time to buy a game. The "Active Users" need to be broken down into these ages. This would let there be a dimension of depth to many aspects from IP to Licenses to Games and Platforms. I've advocated for this for a long time. Some fun competition for age groups and a little challenge. If you've released a successful RPG and someone else and Adventure, the Old/Adult fans might be "out of market" for a while, leaving an opportunity for Skill and Puzzle games.
3. Some kind of "Rent Space" option to offshore various functions - for example, if I could rent a Factory of X types of Level Y machines; then rent a Warehouse with X type of Level Y racks, I could free up a LOT of space.
That's just a hot list. Unless there has been an announcement I don't believe an MGT3 is coming and I believe the developer might be looking at a different "thing" for their next project. Fair enough - Deep Purple can only 0-3-5, 0-3-5-0 so many times before they just wanna do something else for a bit.
Ironic. At least if you think about the Core Gameplay of this Game: The more experience you gather with a Genre, the better your Games will be. As for Oversaturation of the Genre: Yes and no: Bad Tycoons? plenty. Good Tycoons are always in high demand. Its a shame we will not get Mad Game Tycoon 3 and they will jump onto the UE5 Train..... sure it looks good.. but tell me 1 Good Game that came out with UE5 and was more then just eyecandy.
