So if you choose to continue that save, you'll have to launch a new Tech 9 every few years.
But how does modernization work in general? The timer is reset when the console is considered outdated, I've noticed that. But is it calculated per part or is it a simple total time? I only updated one part of a console as a test and it brought me about 100 weeks of additional sales.
I don't use the Realism Mod because some of the changes it does I consider to be unneeded.
