Don't need more than one for a ten square radius.
Anyhow, the robots' monthly cost only seems "high" at the start of the game. By the time you're making a million a month, you can have as many robots as you want, and them cleaning up messes quickly means workers won't have their motivation decay so much due to messes, which means they'll go for longer periods of time without needing to go recharge their motivation.
And buy time your making millions a month I start looking at next difculty level and it goes with out saying you can 30 robots, 100 what ever your rich, point is for a new player one per building is bare min I recommend, anything more early game is over kill, only a few buildings are big enough to justify more then one, and most are on tutorial start so yeah like 2-4 buildings i could see needing more then one.. Yet again thanks for making a simple answer to help them longer then needed with info that is irelvant for a new player who will sort that out second they are good enough to make millions a month sigh...
There isn't one single way to play the game either, so your "recommended" may not be the best for everyone, whether they're starting the game or have been playing it for month. And as I said, if you are okay with undermining productivity, that's fine, not everyone likes playing in an optimized way.
I'm also sorry you hate people explaining things. You'll hate me a lot, since I don't do chatspeak unless I'm mocking it. ;)
Personally, we should be able to hire a janitorial staff like a normal company instead of a bunch of weird cleaning robots. The debuff isnt that bad nor is it that long to really worry about though, you'll still get rich either way.
