As a player, it's always so easy to say the balancing isn't good enough, but people keep forgetting that there are still features to come. For one thing, the company acquisition is coming next. Later, things like Pro/Slim versions for consoles, GamePass and other ways to spend money. Yes, GamePass and such will also generate money, but you can't balance something to have to adjust it again later for new features. I ask for your patience and forbearance in this regard. Thank you for participating in the Early Access of Mad Games Tycoon 2.
My comment is not meant to be malicious or anything like that and it's fine to give your opinion, I just want to make sure you include it in the future. Have a nice day
Anyway the game improves everyday so, there's good hope that full release will rectify a lot of issues.
That being said, all sim/management games eventually reach that point of godhood where nothing can touch you, it's just their natural end point, I think we're just trying to move that point to around 2050+ rather than around 2000.
Consoles are a good example of this, where they aren't finished but the idea was not to balance them to a level where they required things that did not exist yet (such as additional subsidiaries supporting them, additional versions etc) to be useful.
The upcoming patch will change the balance quite a bit with company purchases, but it's going to be continuing to get fine tuned right up til full release to create a fun balanced experience for everyone, and with the multiple difficulty options everyone can choose at what challenge level they like to play.
That's one player controlled way to spend money.
Another way to spend money is Fanshop - you will actually lose money from the employee salaries, furniture, and wasted space that could be spent making money.
And please, don't tell me console sales matter. I heard that joke before. ;)
Yeah I like trying to get my consoles up. My tech 6 is at 28 million. I'm so proud of it lol I got almost 3 billion saved up for tech 7. Gonna see how high I can get that.
Also I am making money on fanshop now. Not a little but a little. I had 3 small rooms of 4 employees. They were getting nearly 50k a week before I stopped them cause support is insane, now that I have almost 9 million fans. Support needs something to help it. We need something to increase fan mail support. I know KT says it doesn't matter but I don't like ignoring it lol
But that feels like waste because even with 80 support people at 90 Marketing, I still can't keep up with 2010+ support with AAA games releasing 6-8 times per year.
Yeah I almost have 9 million fans and I have 54 support and it's just slowly increasing. 20 employees should be able to keep it down or we need something like outsourcing to help mitigate it. Have it cost money to outsource or something. Their is plenty of other stuff to do in the support room even if outsourcing is a thing.
What would be helpful.
Does it not tickle your fancy 😈
Just like MMOs. "But you could be making ten times as much money if you did MMOs!" some people would say. Because obviously everyone needs to have ten times more money than they can spend. ;)
