In opposition, actual good open world, such as Elden Ring and Zelda. I won't detail on why it's good, it has been common knowledge for almost a decade, and only Ubidrones can't wrap their agonizing minds around the notion.
Ninja Gaiden is gold though, that dude gotta git gud.
he's probably about performance mode, or whatever it's called, I don't own ps5
anyway, who even want to play this game because of graphics? It's more about combat and farming points of interests
Wo Long had good combat but everything else about it was very subpar. Especially its level design which was as bad as Nioh 1's, a game released 7 years ago at this point.
And while the combat was good it was also dumbed down compared to Nioh 2.
But worse still was the performance that was terrible and ruined the launch on steam.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is not a great game. Its combat is terrible. I cant match up to any of Team Ninja's games in that regard, and in fact doesnt even come close.
Even Wo Long which overall wasnt a great game either, and with dumbed down combat, still had extremely smooth combat animations which made the boss fights fights feel pretty great. Dragon Dogma 2 on the other hand had combat bad enough it made me quit playing the game, which for me is exceptionally rare. (the only other game that immediately comes to mind where the same happened is Elex)
There's not playing a game for the graphics and then there's ''even then, its graphical standards are too subpar''. People did not care in Nioh. They started caring a bit in Nioh 2. And they already cared a lot more in Wo Long.
Played on PS5, performance mode - clocked around 500 hours before I set it down. Cleared everything, even when midnight had the bug that kept camps respawning. Tl;dr: performance mode looked like absolute garbage. I'm fairly certain even digital foundry called it out.
Why yall lie so damned much?
Let's be real: you get it if you're a real fan.
