Hello All, Beardy here! Just want to provide you all on the status of Free Royale



This is a question we have been asked a few times and I wanted to clear up some things on what is going on.

Free Royale is a passion project from a tiny team who whenever they can put the time into development. As such other situations (work, family etc.) take priority. Whilst we cannot put a time set in stone we can share that we are still much working on the project. This brings us nicely to the next point.

The Royale is Unreal!

Thats right! When we started the development of Free Royale, we planned to use the Unity Engine to allow us to make maps and other assets more easily. Whilst we are more familiar with this engine we believe that the switch to Unreal Engine will allow us more freedom to make more detailed and engaging maps. This will result in most cases coding elements from scratch. We plan to keep you all posted on updates, including alpha tests and more.

This change will result in the minimum and recommended specs, which will be updated on our Steam Store when needed.

When will we hear more?
