2010 was a better time.
between playing ME2 and now the first Red Dead Redemption on PC, it really makes me yearn for a bygone era

Well, back then I had less money and was using a mid range PC. The games were fine but 2010 was not a "better time" all things considered for me.

Was 15 at the time just got into PC gaming with CS and playing total war. Was playing those games on my 360 at the time and the first Red Dead is in my TOP games for life

BioWare before the dark times...Before the EAmpire...
Indeed, dont think we will be going back to those times for a long time the video game market is an absolute cluster mess.

None of those games disappeared though, and in the meantime we've gotten a bunch more great ones.
couldn't have said it better myself. Everything then was just so new and tech was going wild. Good times
Yep Mass Effect 2, World of Tnaks, blew my mind at that time
Unfortunately for all the imaginary benefit people give to nostalgia, it's a clear sign your mind is on its way out.

So everyone is wrong except you and people who agree with you. It's clear your supposition is wrong given the relative popularity of this game, and it's lasting fans. Really cannot stand people who try to belittle others for no reason

Maybe, but a lot of us like myself got access to internet and the overflowing amount of negativitiy, spesifically the review bombing for each game thats releasing, feels like people are just hating on games these days because its the new trend, or maybe im just overdosing over the last few years, but its been rough

it literally is. they throw the word woke at anything nowadays.

People hate on things that are bad, throwing around woke is just lazy criticism.

Plenty of good stuff being made, it just isnt being made by the previous generations of development darlings. Bethesda, Bioware, Blizzard, are all going down the drain.

sad to see bioware, used to enjoy their games so much

Crisis mode? Expand your horizons, stop looking at only the major publishers, their games have been garbage for far longer this this "woke" problem.

Should also stick to using words you actually understand the meaning of. Aphorism? Really?
