It keeps crashing on loading!!

I bought MELE t for my brand new steam deck. Played it once once i initially set up an EA account with it, it still asks me from time to time to link it over the internet. then goes through an ea loading screen and crashes. sometimes crashes after going black. I know these issues have been going on since the game arrived two years ago and EA's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ updated with it.
Can people give a long list trouble shooting options? I even tried reinstalling the game. at this stage im considering big reset of the whole console.

Sorry but I can't really troubleshoot Steam Deck issues as I don't own one. Hopefully someone else can.

Trust me, this not an steam deck issue, this is a EA app problem, a reset wont fix it. i previously lost my save because of the EA app. it only boots when it wants to for me also.
