Origin wont install on Steam Deck
I tried to start the game with different proton version but Origin just wont install like other people wrote. Either it just shows a blank window and nothing happens, or it shows the ea symbol, a progress bar which fills up... and then nothing. What am I doing wrong?

This is a wild solution but crazily after hours of trying everything else it worked for me. For the record I am using the current none experimental version of photon. If you are able install the game onto your PC and try to boot it up (dosent matter if you can run it). From there you will be taken to the EA app where you log your credential in, once you link your account with steam from your PC, from there try to boot the game up on the PC (don't know if it actually matters just wanted to make sure it worked) so long as its the same account you use on your deck the EA app will auto log in the Deck whenever you boot up. You will see the same blank logo on the deck but after about 20 or 30 seconds the App will auto log you in (you can tell the app is in use momentarily because the temp will spike to 80ish before going back down to 50 once the App goes back into the background)

Thank you, but unfortunatly my Desktop cannot run it. The Deck is my only gaming Platform

Thats what I was trying to tell you, you dont actually need to play ME on your desktop, you just need to log in on something other than your deck so you can sync your steam account with the EA app (the new app not origins). Once you do the Deck will log in automatically. The whole reason you get the blank screen is due to a glitch where the log in on the deck is invisible (its there you just cant see it). Just use your desktop to boot the game (dosent actually need to run) for the first time log in to fill in your credentials. After that you wont need to log in via the deck anymore thus no more blank screen.

If it won't bounce off from 2FA, which it should if 2FA works as intended.

If you are using a docking station with eternet cable - try without it... just in case you need more reasons on why new EA app sucks.

No, I dont have a docking station, just regular wi-fi.

I checked ea support forum - there are a few people with the same problem: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports-Technical-Issues/Ea-app-lost-connection/td-p/11770238
