Which game would be good/perfect for a beginner?
Hi everybody i am thinking of planning to buy a NFS game because i have never played one on PC.

So i got few choices what to buy or buy them all evantually.

1. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered
2. Need for Speed Most Wanted
3. Need for Speed Rivals
4. Need for Speed 2015
5. Need for Speed Payback
6. Need for Speed Heat

Currently Hot Pursuit looks the most fun and interesting.

I've played numerous NFS games for years and I'd say this is very friendly to beginners, at least in the campaign. Controls are very friendly but require a decent skill element to master. Gold medals can be difficult to get and there were some I had to retry repeatedly but they're fun, not overly challenging and you don't need to perfect everything to progress in the game. Cannot speak for the online, I'm re-downloading the game to try online this weekend.

Both Rivals and Hot Pursuit have tutorial levels to help you get acquainted to their racer v. (playable) police gameplay. If going with Rivals, after the tutorial, play as police initially to reduce the tension common in the early game due to unfamiliarity.

Most Wanted (2012)'s first two races are kinda like a tutorial, but after that, it is like an open-world sandbox where you go and explore at your desired pace.

In terms of beginner friendly NFS, and you don't mind much older games, it will be Underground 2. The early stages are forgiving, though the progression do require a lot of grinding.

Oh okay.

Hmm sandbox seems fun and exploring.

Well i wanna play the games that are in Steam not outside of it and etc. So yeah not that sadly.

Not to be rude but you got like 30 mins or so in the game.. not very trustable.. and not very informative.

heat is the best one on this list, followed by either most wanted or rivals.

i personally really liked payback, but a lot of people don’t.

2015 remake is fun, but is always online and not pausing even in single player.

hot pursuit is my least favorite, it’s mostly nostalgia if you played in the 90s. if you want cops vs racers, get rivals.
