Getting stuck at ea launcher?

I have need for speed heat on this steam account and recently got nfs pursuit. when I try to open pursuit it goes to the ea launcher and gives me an error that says something along the lines of "you do not own the game on this account. switch accounts or restart app". In the background I can see nfs heat. It is the same account. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it did not work. I then went to the ea app and bought pursuit there only for it not to show up in my library. I am trying to refund both now. Any fixes before I do? Ea took my money btw just didnt give me the game

Edit : If anyone has this issue: I had to refund on steam and it gave me it on ea then had to repurchase it on steam and was able to play

im getting the exact same thing right now, im contacting ea support but i dont think ill be able to run the game from steam. i was about to buy it from the ea app too but seeing as it didnt work for you i might now do it

I've got the original game in my EA library but remastered is not showing up.

Maybe trying updating the EA app through EA updater and then clearing cache on the EA app by clicking the three lines in the top left corner, "Help" and then "App Recovery" and see if that fixes it.

Same issue here, too. The game finally showed up in the EA app but it asks to uninstall the steam version to play.

Had to ask for a refund...

unistall ea app EA with revo unistaller program and reinstall again, make login go to 3 barrels, help go to recovery app, clean cache. done, wait a moment and steam games are load. this work to me.

I tried this a few times with no luck. It's almost like EA is begging me not to buy there crap lol

Solved it:

I turned EA on offline mode first. Then on Steam went to Library < Need for Speed: hot pursuit right click game < Browse local files. In the open folder, look for NFS11Remastered.exe. Click it and go back to EA and turn to online mode ( EA app < 3 bar icon < Go online). After, it showed me my Library with Steam version of Need for Speed. hope this helps.

This was happening for me for NFS Most Wanted and NFS Hot Pursuit but i just did this for hot pursuit is i tried opening it, (obviously it didn't work) then i went to the EA launcher and pressed the 3 lines on the top left, then went to help, then restart app. After restarting i was able to see the game in my EA Launcher. Hopefully this helps!
