Rooftops mission softlock: Dying in the car.

Was playing Rooftops on Murder Machine, and while I was in the car I got absolutely ganked by some shotgunners. I died as normal, however when I respawned I did not inherit Jonny. I was a fixed camera.
Restarting at the checkpoint didn't fix it, so I restarted the level and that presumably fixed it.

I have no idea if it's consistent. But hopefully you guys could replicate and fix it. :)

Edit: Ok so I was able to recreate it again, I died in the same spot, the small arena you enter after emerging from the 2nd set of pipes. I died again and the camera was very close to and looking at one of the buildings that you ascend to get to S.A.M.. And upon closer inspection I believe the car and Jonny are at the nearest checkpoint just not the camera, cause holding the fire button it makes the sound effect of the car starting to fire, but not the actually bullets firing. Ergo, the camera just is displaced away from the car. I think.

I should see if exiting the car fixes it.
