It's intended to play this way - you're meant to sprint in circles around your enemies, constantly jumping over and sliding under projectiles, only a few wrong moves away from death
I don't know what types of games you're into, but I guess the best way I can put it is, if you came into this hoping for the type of single player, story-focused, medium-ish paced shooter like the games that came out throughout the 2010's or so, like, say, Singularity, Bulletstorm, the Bioshock series, etc., it's definitely not the vibe that a game like Turbo Overkill's going for
It's much more intended to be this tough gauntlet that requires you to remember all your weapons, what they do, their alternate fire modes, your extra abilities like micro missiles and turbo time, etc. to survive, all alongside CONSTANT movement on your part
There is a walk toggle button that might help with the speed. If you press U, it will reduce the speed of the player to almost half. There is also a techchip called Steady Footing that decreases acceleration/deceleration time
Thank you a lot - that helps! :))
