What are the top 20 list of boomer shooters like this. I want to have a collection of these wonderful gems.

sup. i could give you my personal list (i started playing fps with doom1 in like 1994. but to make it more precise to what you want, do you want any old school shooter going back to the 90s or modern retro shooters? do you want it to be as fast paced as this or all the classics? questions over questions!!

Modern day for sure . I think Doom series will always be a classic

Check out the Quake 1 and 2 remasters if you haven't already. Dusk, Ion Fury, Project Warlock, and Ultrakill are all good.

Oh nice I've added a few on my wish list. I think I own about half the games on this list at least. I'm surprised you didn't mention Boltgun

i own pretty much all retro shooters. i also own boltgun. i rate boltgun 7/10 because it got too repetetive for me. i could have added my personal 7/10 category, but i dont think these are really MUST have (in my opinion). glad i could inspire you for some ;)

Oh I see makes sense Quake I was remastered a bit ago right? I don't even notice because you have to really look at the news page to see if it got an update

How can I tell I own Quake 1 remastered ? I hear Quake 2 has two options (original and remastered) for those who own original.

you just have to own quake on steam, it was an automatic update (afaik) there is no way to not own it now only THAT version of quake available.

maybe i'm a little bit biased here but this game literally just climbed to the top of my ladder just by this update
