No more button smasher/ masher?

I'm at Teratek Showdown in E3 and still don't have this augment. I remember finding it early in E3.

I haven't played since 1.20 I think. Was this augment removed? I know it was stupidly overpowered but come on. It was fun.

Nah, it's around. Finish the campaign, then head all the way back to the first mission. In the part where you first slide down a chute thing and chegg a bunch of mooks, search for an open doorway to your left as you head down the usual pathway. There should be a Teratek key for the Button Smasher augment, which is located in that same room.

And yeah, I disagree wholeheartedly with the decision to relocate BS to new game plus. How else am I supposed to play without it on the top 2 difficulties? lol

Oh man. That sucks. I don't like new game plus. I just start a new game every time. Cos it's way too easy with everything unlocked. Even on murder machine. Is there any mod or cheat to unlock it in E3 as it used to be?

I think the only way is to rollback the game to a version pre-patch v1.20. Right click on the game in the Steam library, click on Beta, and from there you should be able to select the version that you'd like to install. Lemme know if that works. Cheers.

I got it on GOG. I will try to downgrade there.

But then I will also get whatever older bugs were in the old version. A simple mod or cheat that gives the augment would be so nice.
