A weird issue

playing the game and its been genuinely amazing, however, i'm in to chapter 2, and unlocked a new augment in one of the levels, when i got to view it in the DNA splice machine my entire computer crashes. its only when i tab over it, if i don't collect it i don't have this issue. its happened multiple times now, and was curious if anyone else was experiencing it?

I also experience crashes in the splice machine. I could never determine the cause, but I found I was able to be successful if I made my selections very quickly and then immediately left the Splice store. The behavior started happening for me early in Act 3. If I linger in the Splice store for more than a minute or two, it crashes to desktop.

By your entire computer crashing, do you mean it just crashes to your desktop? Or it completely goes to blue screen or black screen? I myself have had black screen crashes in a particular area in Level 3. I reported it an hour ago.

I'm just making an assumption here but I think it could be related to video codecs. I'm re-working how videos are handled in a future update so hopefully it gets addressed then

I'm having the same issue. If I spend too much time in the slice machine the game hard crashes my PC and I have to restart the whole computer. It's hard crashed twice in act 2 now. Fantastic game though and I hope this problem gets fixed soon.

yea it goes to a black screen, shuts down and then restarts the whole computer. i was directed to sending them a bug report email about it. hoping they can see whats happening.

that sounds good, i appreciate the response! its been a really wonderful game outside of that.

A solution i found is going back to the very first level that has venders to alter your abilities. it seems there to not have much of an issue, but i also would only stay on the vender for like 10 second tops viewing items just to be fully safe. thankfully that seemed to help at the moment

When the game starts, my graphics card stops displaying. When I Ctrl+Tab I can preview the screen when I hover the mouse over the icon in the shortcut bar. What's going on, and how can this be fixed?
