You know what I also noticed? It's a first person shooter. It straight up copied games like Doom! How dare they take inspiration from another game. I am FUMING.

And? Nothing in Ultrakill is original they ripped off other games (doom, quake duke nukem), music and their aesthetic. Too bad they couldn't replicate fun that i had while playing many games they've tried to copy. Turbo Overkill is just way more fun.

it even has electric guitars in the music!

They literally say on their store page that the game is inspired by other oldschool FPS titles. That doesn't make it a bad game. The art and design are original and don't look like a copy to me.

As far as boomer shooters go I'd actually say Turbo Overkill is pretty far removed from ULTRAKILL. ULTRAKILL is the new Doom generation with super streamlined design, whereas TO is more like some kind of amalgamation of games with level design similar to Unreal tournament.
